Baptism
Baptism is an ancient and sacred sacrament that marks the beginning of the Christian journey.
Before a baptism is considered it is expected that the family -
- LIVE IN THE PARISH BOUNDARY
- AND/OR ARE ACTIVE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH.
IN ALL CASES YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ATTEND A SUNDAY SERVICE AND BAPTISM PREPARATION BEFORE A DATE WILL BE SET.
under the rules of the Church of England the vicar is not permitted to baptise from outside the parish.

Funerals
We understand that arranging a funeral is a difficult time for loved ones. We are happy to advise and guide you on the journey ahead.
It is important to note that we can not take funerals from outside the parish boundary, unless in exceptional circumstances where the deceased has a historical link with St Michaels.. this means the deceased has to have been a member of the congregation, or has been baptised or married here.. if you have any questions please do make contact with the vicar via email.
